Neyshabur Turquoise Mine
The Neyshabur Turquoise Mine, located 50 kilometers northwest of the city of Neyshabur, is the oldest active turquoise mine in the world, dating back more than two thousand years. This mine is world-renowned for producing turquoise with a sky-blue color, high transparency, and unique veining, and is considered one of Iran’s natural and historical treasures.
